Works fine on the computer but not with media network.

What file formats?  Some ethernet DAC's don't seek FLAC for example.  Try telling Media Center to convert to WAV format and see if seeking works.

Yes.  I'm using flac.
I'll try that and report later.
I also don't have any problems fast forwarding rewinding and scrolling seek with iTunes and alac.

No Luck.
Converted files to WAV and MP3 and ALAC and ape.
all behave the same way.

Maybe there is a setting in MC I'm missing?

Tried iTunes again today and I can fast forward, rewind, scroll seek and gapless playback works great.
