Title: Navigation Menu
Post by: Blaine78 on June 12, 2013, 11:56:29 pm
Is it possible to view files from top level menu i.e. 'Video' of the left hand side navigator without a tree? At the moment, it's set as Video -> Files. Can you do away with second level 'Files'?

Try:
Right click on Video, choose 'customise view' from the menu.

Under 'Settings' in the middle, you will see tree options. Put a tick in 'Allow tree selection', then press OK.

This may not be exactly what you want. If it's not even close, please explain in more detail.
If it's what you want, but doesn't look the way you want, you may just need to customise the view a bit further.
These two posts may help a little with that...

I used to always use top level views, but dropped them a while back, after trying the default way with auto expand and remember the last view selected for a while and found I liked it better.
