Title: Sorting
Post by: maid on June 15, 2013, 01:01:38 am
How can I sort easily Battlestar Galactica  S01E06 (1978) and Battlestar Galactica  S01E06 (2003) in standard view

At the moment they are all mixed up.

I'm sure there is some Expression that will do this, but I just manually put a number (or date) in the episode field. This will sort for you in Standard View. Just click on the Episode column header first then the Name column header.

In my screen shot example, I sort my movie sequels by putting a number in the episode field (since Movies don't have/use episodes this is just an unused field for MC).  I also enter a Movie "Series name for grouping" - then in the Theater View setup for movies, I add the sort criteria "sort by Episode (a-z)", and that lists them in proper order on the Theater View Screen.
