Title: HOw do I import "Comment" field into Meta Tags?
Post by: baldo on June 20, 2013, 07:31:03 pm
I ave a piece of software that enters a value into the field "comment" Normally iTunes can read this value and enters it as in "Comment".

However, since i Tunes does not read Flac files, how can I get JRiver to read this value and enter it into the "Comment" field?

many thanks for your help on this.

Are you saying that MC is not reading this comment field from FLAC files that you are importing?

MC is reading the field.

The field is blank when i import the CDs.  That's ok.

I have a piece of software that analyses the Flac files and then returns a value to the comment field. It is that value that I want to import into MC.

If you know the name of the field, you can add it in MC.  It's under Tools/Options/Library.

Can you send a sample file to me (maybe pick the smallest one you have), or Dropbox it.  I'll take a look inside.  I'll delete the file afterwards.
