Hi,
since few days I have a problem with MC never happened before: it is very slow in playing audio and video files. If audio files are at 44khz there are no problems but with higher resolution, 98, 176, 192 MC is very slow buffering data and the music skip. If I try to play a video same thing: it takes 10/15 seconds to load and if the file is big the video skip.
It must be a problem of setting because if I manage my media files with a Marantz app I have on my smartphone I have no problems.
Output mode is Direct Sound, buffering is 0,51 seconds and I have tried to play files either from memory than from disk.
Mc version is 18.0.205 and my network is Pioneer n50, Tp link router, WD Nas.
Any suggestion?

As a test, you might copy a few files to your C:\ drive.
Do they play quickly?

I was thinking to do it!
When I get home from the office I will try.

Ok, I copied few files to my pc, disabled the nas and played the files.
The result is the same: buffering is too slow and the music skip.
Might it be some problem occurred on the network (cabling, the router)?
I'm getting discouraged :(

I'm not sure. We're not hearing this from others.
If you play locally, instead of to your DLNA device, does that work better?
Are you running the latest build:

Even If I play locally I have the same problem: I can play normally only files at 44khz, other files skip.
I'm not saying is MC fault. Everything used to work fine, maybe I changed by mistake something in the setting of MC (by the way the sound card of the pc is set at 24bit 192khz) or the network has problem transferring files.
