I would like to list.all of my music library in FOLDER format in my Marantz. How can I set up the software to achieve this? For example ....
Music
Classical
Irish
Hawaiian
Organ
Etc ...
Thanks.

Probably its a DLNA device.
First enable Media Network under Tools > Options > Media Network. Its the first checkbox.
Next, see if the Marantz now sees MC at all. If so, configuration is done under the same option are as above, Add or configure DLNA Servers... Customize Views.
It looks like all you want is to see your list of Genres. The DLNA views already have that (under Audio), so you might just be good to go.
-
I don't want a list of Genres, but my directory structure ... the same as I arranged it on my SERVER.
-
That's fine. You can setup a view to show those.
In the same options area mentioned above, under Customize Views, Add a new Items To Show, selecting Library Item. Configure it on the right after its added. Change the Name, and click Add. Select File path under Type. OK your way out.
If you want to start deeper in the folder tree, use the Browse button where you selected the File path Type.

I am having a VERY difficult time figuring this out !
Would one of you JRiver TECHS be able to use TEAMVIEWER to log into my SERVER and set this up for me. I will be very grateful if you could do this.
If you can, please e-mail me to arrange a time.

Here's a quick video:

After you configure the view, you may have to restart MC and re-initiate DLNA browsing on your device.
I don't see confirmation that your Marantz sees MC. Is that working?
-
YES !!! I was able to follow the somewhat complicated steps via your mp4 ivideo and it seems to be working now. The MC crashed after this was done, but after restarting it everything is working. The Marantz seems to be a bit slow in the amount of time it takes to jump in from one directory to another, compared to what it took with the Windows Media Center.
Thanks again ... it is appreciated very much !

Well ... It was too good to be true.
The MC crashed again. I received a "Media Center 18 Has Stopped Working" message.

What do you suggest ?

Post the crash to a new thread. The developers might ask for a log, so you can enable logging. Help > Logging.
-
Update to 18.0.206. It's on the download page.

BACK TO THE NA7004 ....
When I add more flac files to my MUSIC directory and I view then in the Marantz NA7004, I do not see the new FLAC files.
How can I make the new files be seen jn my FOLDER view, and is there a way to make thishappen automatically whenever I add new files to my FOLDER ??
Thanks.

How are you importing the files? Auto-import with your music paths as entries?
With auto-import, the files should be available in MC shortly after they are placed in one of your import folders.
Do you see the files in MC, but not on the Maranzt? If so, then you need to back out, maybe to the root DLNA level, of the Marantz so that it re=asks MC for the content.
