Title: Installing Portable MC18

I have been trying to install a portable version and then move it to another system. I can not get it to register on the other system. I have used up 8 registrations trying. Please help. I emailed regarding the lost buttons, since I have lost several more. :(

Maybe you misunderstand what the portable install is for.  It's just to be able to run MC from a thumb drive on another machine. 

If you, instead, want MC full time on another machine, download and install, then use a restore to license it.

Thanks for the reply. I do understand and did install it per the instructions. It works on the thumb drive . Problem is when I copied that install to another system lost registration. I tried to register it, it would not and I used up 8 registrations trying not realizing when I put in my serial had to keep hitting ok it would do that but not regster.  I am using Win server non GUi,and cannot do a regular install. Help? :)

You can't do that.  It won't work.

On a second machine, execute the download to install it, then license it.
