Hi,
So I put a new mkv file into one of my auto-import watched folders this morning and about 20 minutes later I sat down to watch it, however it wasn't in my library. I waited probably another 10 minutes and still no luck so I finally gave up and ran the "Run Auto-Import Now" option and it then instantly picked up the file. I'm sure it hasn't taken this long in the past but maybe I'm getting more impatient as the years go by but how often does the auto-import run?
Thanks

It runs whenever Windows sends a message to say that a folder has been updated.
Check that you haven't accidentally turned it off.
If your watched folder is on an external drive then Windows may not detect the change reliably.

Ah that might explain it then. My files live on one of these: http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/storage/prosumer/RND4000.aspx
On a kind of related subject, how often does a library client re-sync with the library server I wonder?
