Title: Upscaling/up mixing possible when Transcoding?

I took a look on the wiki regarding Transcoding and it's not very clear to me:will the Transcoding process utilise jriver's rohq and/or sound engine? If yes, that means that assuming a decent network connection it is possible to send to a really thin htpc client content for playback using dlna.
If not currently available, is it possible as a future implementation?
