Title: anyway to un-tag large selections of songs ?
Post by: donberry on July 08, 2013, 11:04:27 pm
I am getting ready to start on a very long over due library re-organization and one thing I would like to do is start over on my song ratings. Only "problem" is I have about 2.5 gigs of  flacs and I really, really get tired of deleting the rating on individual files. I tried selecting a group of files, but then I couldn't delete the rating.
Anyone happen to know a way to do this to multiple files at once ?
Thanks for any info

You might find it easiest in the Tag Action Window.  Select your tracks, click to edit the Ratings field, and hit Delete.

Or select all the files, hover over any Rating cell in the file list, and click the circled-x (right of what would be the 5-star rating selector).

Did you mean 2.5 TB of Flacs? 2.5 GB is about 5-15 albums, I think.

I edited my post above.  It was inaccurate.  See the update.
