Title: Should I uninstall obsolete versions of MC?

I have 17 and 18 on my machine. For good houskeeping sake (or performance etc) should I uninstall the old version?

It shouldn't really matter.

MC doesn't run stuff in the background (unless you enable Media Server manually because you want recordings, DLNA, etc. to work all the time).

I use a single version at home, just so I don't get confused and run the wrong one.  At work, I have a pile installed for testing.
