You should include your system info so that the developers can cross-check your error. In MJ, at the top, choose Help, System Info. Highlight all the stuff in that window. Ctl-c to copy. Then reply to this thread and Ctl-v to paste.

Compliments of CVIII

Solution
A mechanic, an electrician, a chemist, and a computer guy were driving on the highway when their car broke down.
The mechanic said, "I think a rod broke."
The chemist said, "There's no combustion so it's not getting enough gas."
The electrician said, "I think something's wrong with the electrical system."
The computer guy said, "I think we should all get out and then get back in."

Nah, an engineer and a mathematician are discussing their upcoming dates. The mathematician says, "If you continually halve the distance between your body and her's, you will never reach her." The engineer replies, "Ah, yes, but I will get close enough."
(Sorry, damage, it's just the usual way around here...
keep bumping and call Matt and Nikolay's names loudly)

Jim, I threw away my original mj and reinstalled from mj exe.
unfortunately, I had no luck. Was this the correct way to reinstall?
If so, any other ideas? If not (the correct way to reinstall) could you give me a "reinstall for cumputer-dummies" lesson.
Thank you.

Can someone help me yet?

Sounds like either a problematic device driver for the cd drive, or a damaged ASPI layer.
See if you can track down and install the latest driver software for your CD drive.
ASPI is system software that acts as the middle man between Media Jukebox and your CD devices. Try downloading and installing the latest Adaptec ASPI software from this link:
