Hey guys, while you have ideas cooking up in the tank:
You can now buy these for 99 bucks:

ARM devices are becoming cheaper, faster, and better.
But media options are limited...nothing comes close to JRiver's Windows functionality. Any chance we might see a full - featured Linux or Android version in the future?

Linux might be possible.

I've heard that OSX is a lot like Linux. I wonder...
-
Possibility to run MC as a server on an Arm-based NAS, please.
-
If Linux is a possibility then does that mean a Synology x86 based NAS version :D
I sure would love this and I know of several other users who would too.

I would love this too. It could effectively be a "headless" version of MC for linux, don't worry about the UI, just library server and playback. I would absolutely LOVE this... and happily pay the full price for it, without the UI. In fact, no UI might even be a "feature" =D
Btw, a Synology x86 package would be the way I would want it. They have a really nice package management system. And they seem to have a reasonable amount of horse power for these things. I'm really enjoying Plex on my Syn NAS.

Oh yeah, another vote for Synology NAS package also.

Before the requests get too lopsided, I'll throw in my request for an unRAID (slackware) version.
Also, headless would be fine/best, just something that serves my media to the windows (and android) clients is all I need/want here.

Add me to the unRaid list.
