Is there a way to search by Song Title or Artist or Album? Is it hidden and I don't know about it? I have voer 11,000 songs and am surprised this functionality isn't more evident.

Try pressing Ctrl-F...that's one way to start a search.

enter in search field at the top of media library content view.
