Title: Lock up while ripping

I constantly have the problem during ripping from a CD where once the status bar indicates that copying a track has completed, it sits there and does not move onto the next track.  Only resolution is to cancel and start again.  Has anyone run into this?

Try ripping to uncompressed wave and see if you get the same problem. This would narrow it down to an encoder problem (which one are you using?). Also check your disk space and try unchecking the "simultaneous rip/encode" option. You could also try the new version 8 beta.
