Title: DVD and Blu-ray playback

I did a search here for Blu-ray playback and found most information is old. 2007, 2009 etc with latest being from 2011. Can I assume Blu-ray playback is still not possible when using the now current 18.0.206?

DVD movies will play perfectly but not commercial Blu-ray movies...nothing. No sound, no video. What I saw in my search here were mainly computer hacks, workarounds or just plain 'use other programs'. I assume 'as is' JRiver MediaCenter will not do blu-ray?
