Title: MC Has Stopped Working...Crash On Startup [Solved]

I've got a crash.

When starting up MC I get a "Media Center has stopped working" generic Windows error. None of the "use standard library, etc" options help at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled and this also did not remedy anything.

I've had some hard drive issues with this machine, and my guess is that something got corrupted. I'm just not sure where to start digging to figure out what or how to fix it.

Any suggestions?

Backup your database, then uninstall and reinstall MC.

In addition to uninstalling/reinstalling I also repaired some Windows DLL's that had become corrupted (problem with another app pointed me to this). After reinstalling again, all is working now. Thanks for the response!
