Title: Unable to rename and use search bar

Hi! I can't rename and writing in search bar. When i try to rename, text edit box appears but nothing is written.

What do you mean by rename? You are talking about the search box upper right of standard view screen?

Maybe a screenshot would help and/or more details

Sinon je viens de voir que tu es français :) En fait quand je sélectionne la barre de recherche, le texte "search" à l'intérieur disparaît un court instant puis reviens et quand je tape un truc, ça ne fonctionne pas et en plus Media center devient inutilisable, c'est à dire que je ne peux plus cliquer sur rien du tout.

Sinon pour "renommer", c'est pareil sauf que ça ne plante pas.

Which version of MC?  I think this was a problem resolved in MC18 quite a while ago.

I wondered if it was a language issue. My PC is English British, I don't see the issue. I set MC to use French, and it still worked... out of ideas...

Curieux tout ça car je ne peux  reproduire ton problème chez moi, ni les autres, donc difficile pour nous de te conseiller.

Au lieu de renommer, sélectionnes quelques pistes - puis ALT+ENTER (ou clique droite > Etiquettes). Peut-tu changer les infos dans la fenêtre des Tag ?

Probablement rien avoir, mais si tu essaie sur une autre "Vue",  Panes ou Files par exemple est-ce que ça change quelque chose?  Ces fichiers ... ils sont en quel format?

@everybody else -- just said I can't reproduce the problem either so running blind. Suggested he see if he can write via the tag box instead of renaming .. and (long shot) trying another View .... might give us some more info. Haven't got a clue about the search box, however. Also asked what format the files are in

Non plus^^, j'ai essayé avec toutes sortes de fichier, du flac, du mp3 320...



I'll reinstall mc, maybe it's as simple as that: O
