Hi,
I wonder if someone from the Beta team could post a simple "How to migrate from MC18 to MC19 guide" prior to the first release of MC19 to the masses (of which I am one).
It might save a lot of forum threads being posted subsequent to release.......

When MC19 is available, you should just be able to install it. It will find and convert your old library.
-
Will the converted library be compatible with the existing MC18 installation?
Do I need to update all my client installations or are they interoperable?
Can I use MC19 as a client with an MC18 server?
Will my MC18 library backups be usable with MC19?
Will I need to run audio analysis again to use the new R128 scheme?
Will MC19 alter any of the existing tags or add any tags to my files?

No

Both server and client need to be MC19, MC18 cannot connect to MC19 or vice versa.
Also see this thread about that:

Yes, MC18 backups should work with MC19, not the other way around though.
