Title: Media Center 17 going from windows 7 to windows 8

Hi all,

I had windows 7 when I first installed Media Center 17. However, just upgraded my media server to windows 8. First, is media Center 17 compatible with Windows 8? If so, is there anything special that I have to do to reinstall Media Center 17 on my upgraded Windows 8 machine? Thanks for your help. Garth

Wish I could answer; but hopefully this post will bump your question to the attention of a few knowldgeable and helpful folks

Personally, on an extra PC, * just for running MC, I'm considering buying & installing either Win 7 or Win 8
Any advantages eithef way with respect to running MC?
