Title: Best Tablet Screen Size for Gizmo?
Post by: cal3713 on July 30, 2013, 12:56:03 am
Hi all, I'm looking to get a tablet to control MC without having to power up my TV and am curious what screen size people think is best for this purpose.  I think the Nexus 7 is probably my preferred option for the price:feature ratio, but I'm concerned that 7" is too small.  There are some other 8" and 10" options that I'm considering, but it's hard to know what's best since I'm not well acquainted with tablets or Gizmo.

Any opinions out there on what the optimal tablet size is for the Gizmo app?

Thanks,
Chris

P.S.  If you like the Nexus 7 option, any opinions on whether to go with the old version (~$140-160) vs the new version (~$200-240) would also be welcome.

I love my Nexus 7 for this. If you intend to have it in your hand when your on the couch its the perfect device for it.

I got a nexus 10 next to my desktop pc that I use to control JRiver also while I am working but key thing is I am not holding it but its great to browse my albums with large icons.
