Not sure if it was the latest MC18 211 release or the one prior but for some reason I can no longer play any Videos in any format from my Phone. WebGizmo works fine and from other machines it works fine just not my phone.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

WebGizmo on my phone does NOT work. All works beautifully on anything else though.
-
Just loaded Flash 11.xxxx and it still does not help. Boo Hoo
-
with the latest updates to Gizmo, it uses HTML5 for playback. that means, that if you are trying to stream video to Gizmo *app* in a file format that is not native to your device, it might not work. try changing the server video conversion
-
Any suggestions on which type? My movies range from avi, wmv, m4p, mkv
-
I assume you are talking about under the DLNA server settings, video conversion. Mine is set to MPEG2-TS High Bandwidth Stream. Is this were you mean?
-
Still no luck. Has anyone else experience this issue?
-
Do you actually use the Gizmo app, not WebGizmo?
-
Yes the App itself. But I also tried webGizmo and it does not work either on my phone.
-
Has anyone had success watching movies on there android phone? If so, how did you setup the conversion?
-
Tried the new update today 18.0.212 and still no luck with the video playback on android devices. Any options to try?
-
FWIW, I have never been able to stream video to my device using Gizmo.
Audio is fantastic, photos are tantalisingly close to being great.
-marko.
-
Bummer! I could about 3 weeks ago so not sure what changed.
-
New approach.
Has anyone ever got streaming video to work on a Samsung Galaxy S4? Pictures and Audio work fantastic!
-
I just tested this again and it works fine on a Note2. I can only guess that something about the video player itself on the S4 doesn't work. Trying other video players might be useful.
-
Any suggestions on what video player?
-
No. Sorry.
-
MX Player is extremely competent. So much so, I paid for it!
Free, Ad supported version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en
Licensed version (3.70 GBP): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.pro&hl=en
For clarity, I don't have an SG4, I went the HTC One route.

I was just about to recommend the same one. I have it running on my S3, Original Asus Transformer and a Nexus 7.
Plays everything!
