How to files automatically re-encoded when coping them to a portable device?

Sorry for the delay in responding. To get re-encoding to work in v8, once you have files that are "in queue" to be sent to your portable device, at the root level, you will have an "Options" button. When you click on "Options" you will be able to do whatever you want as far as re-encoding.
