Title: how to set up window views at MC startup
Post by: nonexx on August 04, 2013, 08:08:09 pm
Hello. I splitted view into 2 windows (SHOW 2 VIEWS) and I would like to have the library fields in the left window and when I switch between the audio views (ALBUMS, 3D ALBUMS, GENRE, etc) I want it to be shown in the left window while in the right window I want to have PLAYING NOW only...

I don't know how to make the software to show these windows exactly how I want just right after the MediaCenter start... can someone suggest me something?

Also - it would be nice to permanently hide the left part of MC window - the one with Audio, Video, Playlists menus... yes, I know I can tuck it to the left but it comes back by itself every time I want to convert a file (Convert Format window, just next to the Action Window)... any ideas?

thanks

Split to two views.  In the single tab on the right, navigate to Playing Now and select the primary zone.  Then, lock the view.

Now open whatever tabs you want in your left views.

Set the option    Tools > Options > Startup > Startup Interface > Location: Last Location

To disable the tree on launch:

Unset the option Tools > Options > Startup > Startup Interface > Show tree
