Title: MOV files play in landscape not portrait
Post by: rossp on August 06, 2013, 05:01:50 am
Hi All, I just imported some video off my iPhone and it plays fine in Quicktime but plays in landscape with MC. Is there anyway to set the orientation in MC to correct this?

I see this too. I was looking for a "rotate right/left" type function (like for images) but this doesn't exist :(

I wonder if this would be a difficult thing to implement (for v19).

ditto that. All the videos of my Nephew that come from New Zealand are portrait iPhone mov files.

In MC's 'File Type' options, setting .mov files to use the Quicktime engine has helped me out in this regard.

Thanks Marko, That at least got the videos the right way round.
