Title: External sound is muted

Hi. New to MC and just installed the latest version on Mac OS X 10.8.4. It may well be something I've configured, but I am unable to play any other sound when I have MC open (e.g. You Tube clip plays but no sound). Closing MC restores the sound. Any ideas? Thanks.

While playing audio, MC opens Core Audio for exclusive access.  If you stop (with the stop button), it should release the device.

You can also disable exclusive access in Options > Audio > Output mode settings...
