Title: Issue with license on portable install
Post by: rdsu on August 13, 2013, 04:02:06 am
Hi,

I created a portable version, on a PC with JRiver licensed, and then put it on another PC (with Windows Server 2012).

When run it, it ask for a license and I insert the key without success. Even used the .mjr file with the same result.
I already wasted a lot of license restores because of this.

Can you help?

Thanks

Sorry, but you can't move a portable install to a new drive.

I hope to not need the licenses that I wasted with this...

We can't install JRiver on Windows Server 2012 Core/Minimal Editions, so we can install JRiver on GUI Edition, and then go to the other Editions.
To upgrade JRiver, on this conditiones, can I just move the files of a portable version to the JRiver folder?
