Title: Audioscrobbling and playlist generation

I am trialing MC 18.  I am new to audioscrobbling and last.fm.  I was introduced to them by the MixZing Andriod app.

I have two questions:

• Is the playlist generation feature of MixZing (or other players) dependent upon or associated with last.fm?
• Can MC 18 generate playlists?  If so, does it use last.fm to do this somehow?

Sorry to be so ignorant.  I'm just trying to get a handle on these two things and figure out if they have anything to do with one another.

Thank you very much, this is exactly what I wanted to find out about.

It very much influences my decision to purchase MC 18.
