Title: Can some help me creating Macro for adding song to a Play list?
Post by: trcns on August 16, 2013, 08:37:07 pm
I have almost 1000 CD. It was difficult to pick and choose a song from each CD. So I ripped all on my computer, as disk space is cheap now days. Now, when I play this music in a theater view mode, I want to add my favorite songs in a specific play list, by using some sort of Macro or key combination. Let say I have playlist “List1”, so if I wish add a song, I should, by   pressing “M” or “Ctrl M” on the keyboard.

Can some help me creating such Macro?

In Standard View, you can use right click, send to, playlist.

In Theater View, try a right click.  There are play options there.

On a touch screen, press and hold to get the right click options.

I haven't dabbled in theater view modding quite yet but you could create a macro in mc command line and bind that to a keyboard shortcut

Taking that step further I've actually set up shortcuts for sending command line from my phone to the library server so i can user Gizmo as a theater remote while leveraging the power of mc automation

That's exactly what I want too, but need step by directions, if someone guides me through these steps.

Thanks
