As the number of my CD collections (with track names in both English and Chinese) explodes, the capability to search for some particular CD's becomes all the more craved. I have the most recent version 180211. Is there a way to input Chinese names into the search box ? (I tried trackpad handwriting, and zhuyin keyboard. None worked.)
Currently, e.g. if I need to locate an album that a particular Chinese artist produced, I resort to "Clementine" (a speedy freeware also written in C++ but sound quality is less, I feel) player to find that album. [ There is no issue in entering Chinese there.] And then I come back to JRiver to scroll to that album.....
I wish there is a way to do this operation in JRiver entirely.

Sorry, we don't currently offer a Chinese text input pop-up. You can copy & paste into the search box from another app.

Cut-and-paste works.
Not ideal. But better than nothing.
Thanks for the info.
