Title: Can't Seek on Client if Video Conversion is On
Post by: codpiece on August 18, 2013, 03:28:46 pm
I'm not sure if this is something that can be changed but it would be really nice if it could.

The problem seems to be if you have your Client options set to convert video, then the file length is not read properly and will be something like 1-10 seconds, making seeking impossible on the client.

This isn't a new problem as it has been this way for as long as I know.

Any info about this would be really appreciated.

You probably need to say what video source format are you playing, and what destination format it is being converted to.

Video sources:  all

Destination format:  all

Seriously, as long as video is set to convert in the client options, you will not be able to seek and the file length will show up as a few seconds.
