Title: JRiver 19 file associations
Post by: freesteve on August 20, 2013, 09:01:12 am
I upgraded to 19 with license accepted.  When I click on play from my files, JRiver 18 is being recognized.

Should I uninstall 18?  I thought the upgrade adjusts to 19 automatically as install was accepetable and I can access directly  18?

Try rerunning the install and manually setting file associations (custom install). Or go to Tools->Options->File Types and select them there (however, you'll have to through each file type one by one using this method).

Unselect the filetypes in MC18, too.

I have the same issues... I did both suggestions but mc18 and 19 still don't play nice with each other ( I can't commit to mc19 yet due to sound issues with videos)

...I think loading up mc18 and or the server keeps stealing back the default file types.)

You need to disable the file associations inside MC18 or else it will keep doing this.
