Title: BUG: When watching letterbox video, OSD doesn't completely vanish

If you're watching a widescreen video full screen, so MC letterboxes it, then press down a few times and wait, The OSD doesn't completely clear. Each OSD element appears over the previous one, then only the last one is blacked out.
