can't reproduce this problem - none of my "Various Artists" [Album Artist] have this issue  ... possible to post a screenshot of the album to show the artist field for all the tracks? probably something weird in the tag.

Its an iso and before I start to mess with the tags the artist field reads "Various Artists" on all tracks which is probably why MC thinks its a single artist (=Various Artists) i.e the artist field on all tracks reads the same "Various Artists".
