Title: Stacks and updating tags
Post by: Vincent Kars on August 26, 2013, 01:27:19 pm
I have a lot of stacked files because the original is in FLAC and the MP3 is in the conversion cache.

In this example (stack1.gif) I removed the ";Duo Crommelynck" from the Work tag.
Much to my surprise, it returns after a while.

On inspecting the tags:
The FLAC contains the edited value (stack2.gif)
In the MP3 the original un-edited value is still there. (stack4.gif)
It looks like JRiver does write to the FLAC but not to the MP3

BTW: Work is a relational field if that matters.
If I choose “expand stacks”, the stack icon changes but I do not see the second file. (stack5)

I've been reporting this in the past as well. Thanks for bringing it back up.
