Title: When changing "album artist (auto)" for a compilation, the artist changes too

Hi, when I change "album artist (auto)" for a compilation to (multiple artists)" so that it is considered one album, all the Artists change to "(multiple artists)" too so I lose all the individual artist names. How do I change "album artist (auto)" without it impacting the "artist" field?

I'm using the latest jriver media centre 18 for mac. 18.0.215

I'm sorry, I saw this when you posted, but forgot to respond when I had a chance.

You don't want to enter a value in album artist (auto) as it is filled in automatically.  Copy any values you want into either artist or album artist.  You can us the Move /Copy fields tool, or directly assign using:

   =[album artist (auto]

in either the artist or album artist field.  Then clear album artist (auto).
