Title: JR remote and AVAST

Are there known issues with AVAST and JR River19. I changed from Microsfot essentials and seem to have lost my connection .

There are known issues with most every antivirus program.  If you're having trouble, uninstall it.

Too bad.  I was hit by some viruses that MSE did not catch. I really like JR Remote but I am leery for the risks now.

Any suggestions for work arounds?

It's not a JRemote problem.  It's an antivirus problem.

Came back in version 36. Then lost it again after a reboot. 37 and its back again. I checked  my router ports. All is ok there. Erratic e behavior is very frustrating.

Are you getting the erratic behavior when using JRemote and MC19?   Is the behavior music that has long stops (5-30 seconds) then starts again?  The JRemote display (bottom tab) not showing Album cover or even the right song number (like 1 of 0)?

BTW I run ZoneAlarm on my MC server with no issues, so Avast should work if you want to go that route.

JR remote will occasionally not connect to my server with 19. This happened after I changed to Avast but could of course be related to 19. Once connected music seems to play fine.
