Title: Rename Move and Copy Files - <file not supported>?
Post by: BartMan01 on September 02, 2013, 02:39:37 pm
Moving my video library from shared folders on a PC to a NAS.  I am copying the files outside of MC (to make sure everything actually copies over), and then using Rename Move and Copy files > Find & Replace to point MC to the new location.  I have some BluRay .mpls files and I am getting the message <file not supported> in the dialog box under both MC19 and 18.  How do I just change the pointer for these?  Changing the tag values tries to actually move the files which I don't want to do again.

I don't know if this helps or not, but if you go to Tools>Options>File Types, do you have "mpls" selected as a file type for MC to use?

Re-named the original source folder and it let me update the tags without trying to copy with source not found.
