I am curious if you can create entire setup profiles? Meaning, my two channel setup has different settings (non-bitstream audio, DSP effects and upsampling etc.) but yet my multi-channel movie setup is completely the opposite. No DSP at all, bitstream over SPDIF etc.
Would be amazing if I could open JRiver and pick my "2 channel stereo" profile or "multi-channel profile" and it have all my settings for each setup ready to go.
Is this possible?

You can already do this. Look up Zone Switch in the wiki. It's actually even better than your wish. You don't need multiple profiles. You can assign rules, so that when you play a 5.1 movie, it automatically goes DSP free and bitstreams, but stereo stuff upmixes etc.
First create the "zones" you want.
Then assign the rules so MC knows when to employ which.

Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted and needed! Works great!

Glad it worked out for you. I have been to lazy to set it up yet. Am having other, non-MC (EDID) problems for now.

Do I understand this might work for managing my 30,000 Coast to Coast AM audio files collection within MC19? As it is, because many prefs are totally different from my music collection I have to use a previous edition of MC, which DOES work well...

Sure - if there is some tag-based way to differentiate these files from the rest of your library. It seems like there is exactly that.
