Title: Gizmo widgets?

I am loving all the new attention to Gizmo - it is absolutely awesome!

Is there any plan to develop

- widgets for home screen?
- lock-screen widget to pause, prev, next control?
- control widget in the notification area?

These are really nice improvements for usability and would make Gizmo even better.

Love this idea. 

Home screen widget would be awesome. 

Lock screen widget would be even better, if possible.  If not, I'd like the ability to toggle on/off lock screen over-ride.  Seems like Theater View Remote mode over-rides the lock screen.  If I'm listening to a full album, I like the screen timing out to conserve my battery.  However, when I'm playing all-day DJ and flipping around albums, I'd like to be able to turn off the screen time out and just have the brightness fade so that I don't have to unlock my phone every time I want to change songs.

Lock screen controls are in the latest version of Gizmo.  It went to the Play Store this morning.

i am working on a widget currently (eventually plug in of sorts)  that should allow for any MCWS command

.. unfortunately controlling gizmo itself is not in MCWS scope.. but will allow for enhanced Playlist manipulation, reporting meta data, and additional remote control actions. (just got bookmarking gizmo playing now to work :-))

Is there any tricks in getting the lockscreen controls to show up?

I have the latest Gizmo version but I am not getting any lockscreen controls, Nexus 5.

Also, I'm playing on the server, not on the device, does this matter?

yes, android doesn't know gizmo is playing anything (because its not). if your ROM allows custom widgets on lock screen, you can still get a third party remote like  Unified Remote and design your own desktop, not bar and lock screen widgets.
