Title: Database gone after upgrading to v19?
Post by: bert003 on September 08, 2013, 06:55:50 am
I installed v19 with v18 already installed. Upgrading went fine and without having to do anything the all my music was in the local library of v19.

But now after a few restarts of v19 the whole database is gone. In v18 it is still present.

Is there a possibility to manually import the whole database including smartlists an options from v18 to v19?

No idea why it happened btw.

You can backup the library in v18 and restore in v19.  Look in the main menu under File > Library.

Thanks Matt,

In the mean time I started a fresh import because I want the files to be re-analyzed anyway to have these new tags.
But then I have to do all the adjustments in options a settings again.

Is there a possibility to import only the options and settings from v18?
Also, is there a possibility to copy my custom smartlists from v18 to my other pc?

I could first do an import as you mention, and after that reanalyze the database. But I am curious if it can be done since analyzing is already in progress.

Thanks.
