Title: bluray playback black screen without sound
Post by: lunacrazy on September 09, 2013, 01:38:39 am
i bought a copy of jriver MC19 recently for concert bluray with hd audio like 24/96 recording on my pc.
but the player turns black without sound and the timer is counting.
my setting
video (ATI HD7850)
red october standard
hardware acceleration on
video clock off
Audio setting
Cambridge Audio DacMagic plus with ASIO driver
DSP output format 2 channels with JRSS mixing on
bitstreaming off

for sure i tried many combinations, like wasasi/direct sound + red october HD/windows engine but it doesn't work. please help fix it.

Media Center does not decrypt Blu-ray discs - are you using decryption software?

i thought it only applies when ripping bluray. however, i think powerdvd is also a common bluray decryption software. do you have any plan to let JR cowork with powerdvd?

PowerDVD is a Blu-ray player, that is licensed to support playback of protected content.
It is not a disc reader tool like AnyDVD. (which lets the content play in any player)

I think there are ways to have Media Center open Blu-rays inside PowerDVD, but then you do not have any of Media Center's playback/DSP features.
