Title: Setting view mode in playlist
Post by: connieflyer on September 09, 2013, 03:51:57 pm
Is there a way to set all playlist to the same custom view without having to do each artist individually?  Also how can I get rid of the seq column, even when I don't select it, and save a custom view, the seq list always is included.  I don't want it or need it.  Thank you.  Don

I don't think you can group-set the column preset for a selection of playlists.

Sequence will keep returning each time you return to the playlist.  There is no way to permanently remove it.  Playlists are ordered sequences, so you'll just have to live with it.

You can place all your playlists in one or more Playlist Groups, and then create a panes view.  As one of the Categories, select type Playlists group, and select the group you want.  Now you'll have a list of playlists, and below that a file list without a sequence number.  As a bonus, this allows you to use a single column preset for all these playlists.

Thanks for the information.  I was thinking that seq was something I could not change, but had to try.  Kind of a pain when editing each section of playlist.
