Title: Audio Analysis of New Imports
Post by: Gl3nn on September 10, 2013, 11:18:22 am
New imports from disk, say (I normally right-click from an MC Explorer tab)... Is there a way to have the audio analysis done as part of the actual import?  If not, would be a nice feature.  Otherwise, I guess we need to remember to periodically re-analyze all audio and skip analyzed files?

What's the best practice for this right now to keep all audio files analyzed?

Auto-import can optionally keep all your files analyzed.  It's one of the options when you configure Auto-Import.

Thanks, Matt.  I haven't been using it but I'll take a look.

I've been using the 'right-click'-Import feature from within an MC Explorer tab because it allows me to choose which files within a directory I want to import.  Sometimes there are files I don't import.  (It would be nice if that method of importing would use the 'auto-import' parameters too.  Just sayin'  :) )

Really liking MC19.  This may be the earliest I've ever migrated over in umpteen versions.  Nice work... looking forward to the rest of the cycle of builds.

Best,
Glenn
