Title: Volume Setting

What's the best setup for an external dac (Lynx Hilo) and TAP-X Autoformer? 

I'm currently using Internal with volume up.  Perhaps it should be disabled?

I have Volume mode: Disabled Volume

My DAC has a volume control but I have it disabled, going through a pre amp as well, which is where I adjust the volume.

I don't control the volume from my Mac. So regardless of where I have the volume set on my Mac it has no effect on music output.
