Will a MC19 lic work with MC12? I am trying to use homeseer with the media center, but I have to use a specific version. Homeseer plugin isn't updated to run on MC19.

It isn't possible. Only MC19 licenses are available now.

Isn't a licence restore different from an upgrade?
A user gets (what?) 10 licence restores per year with MC18 or MC19. What's the deal for MC12?
There should be a forum page with a link to the latest version of MC12 somewhere on Interact, unless that version has been completely withdrawn.
Regardless, I'm not clear on the problem.

MC12 licensing is the same as MC19. No significant changes.
Old Versions are listed in the "Old Versions" thread on the wiki. Links are on the Download Page and in the FAQ. "Restoring a License" on the wiki tells you how to relicense an old version and how to get your old license from our server.
