I've known Ted since we were both on roller skates. For a couple of years, he worked at JRiver. I've always loved his taste in music. He finds old music, new music, American roots music, world music, but it always is music first. No thump da thump da thump stuff.
Here's his blog:

He lives in Boulder, Colorado, where it has been raining for a week. I hope he has a boat.

Great musicians and great music. Thanks for posting this blog.

Wow, thanks for that! I can't wait to get home and repeatedly press Play! Some old favorites and lots of Never Heard Ofs...great stuff!
I had to smile seeing the lyrics from October Song. Every autumn I have to drag out that old LP and give a listen...
And speaking of Incredible String Band, check out Jackson Browne's cover of First Girl I Loved...an act of bravery that!

The blog is interesting....(I hope he did not have damage in the flooding.).... I find excluding any sort of music is a bad idea... here is a fine recent track that may qualify as "thump da thump", but is also from one of the only new genres:

Thanks. Might be the first site I subscribe to that does not have something to do with the collapse of civilization. :)
