Title: JRemote for Iphone: Where is the volume control while playing ?

Hello
I just downloaded JRemote on my Iphone4, and linked it to JRiver installed on myWindows 8 PC.
Fine,  I can select and lauch my audio files (flac) stored on the PC,
BUT:
>>>  ? I don't find any way to adjust volume control while playing !  ?

I read somewhere (?) that there must be a slider for that necessary function ?
Could you help me to find it?

Tap the playing song at the bottom of the screen to get the Playing Now view where the volume slider is OR
use the iPhone volume control buttons.

Ok, yes I am true newbe in Apple & Iphone's world!
-but the 2 left-side buttons only control the ring tones..? why?
-yes, I discovered the botton of the control panel!... I am not yet used to sliding up /down everytime/everywhere...
I used to be a Windows adept. ::)

When it's playing the volume control buttons should be active.

He may be just using JRemote as a controller.  In that case, when not in focus, the side buttons may not work.
