Title: Controlling Headless Mac Mini via a PC
Post by: south on September 21, 2013, 05:40:21 pm
My music server is a Mac Mini w/o monitor or keyboard, music is on a HD attached via USB3.  Is there a way to modify the MC settings on this Mini via a PC running Windows 8 (with no MC software installed) that is on the same network (both are wired to R6300 router)?  For example, a way to add/create playlist, change tags?  Currently, connecting keyboard and monitor to Mini each time.

You can control your headless MacMini by using a VNC program on the PC side that connects to the MacMini.

Lots of choices out there. I control my Mac Mini with Splashtop on my iPad, they also make a version that will run on PCs.
