Title: offline tagging?
Post by: fucheeno on September 23, 2013, 02:00:04 pm
Hello all,

New to jriver on the mac side and I have a question.

I imported my music library from my Synology on to my laptop.  Is it possible for me to make metadata changes while I am out of the house in my spare time (at work) and sync the changes back when my NAS is back online?  This would be so awesome for me.

Thanks and looking forward to version 19.

What kind of changes do you want to make to your music files/albums?

Also as an aside, the Synology NAS can be configured so you could make those changes from work directly. I realize this may or may not be desirable on your part.

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but might work:

If you run a Media Center Library Server at home, you can connect from anywhere with another MC and edit using Library Server Sync.

How does one configure all of this?

How does one configure all of this?

These might help:

Thanks.
